Get to know me
Hi, my name is Demmi and I am the owner of The Canine Retreat. I officially launched my business in January 2022 and it has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I have spent my life surrounded by dogs, cats and many other animals.
My backround
My family currently have three Spaniels which keeps me very busy and active. My family own a farm so my childhood was spent caring for and loving a whole range of animals. This has made me experienced and confident in this field. My love for animals continued when I studied at Hadlow College and passed my Extended Diploma in Animal Management. When I turned 18, I started working as a care assistant and although I loved this, I knew in my heart it wasn’t where I was supposed to be. I took the plunge to start this business and I haven’t looked back!
